Jeanette Ward's positions versus her opponent's on the major issues.
Jeanette Ward: "When I ran and when I served in the 67th Wyoming legislature, I said that I'm pro-life, pro-freedom, pro-2nd Amendment, and pro-family. And that's exactly how I voted. In contrast, Rep Jarvis is pro-death, anti-freedom, anti-2nd Amendment, and anti-family, and voted the opposite of what she presented to voters when she ran."
“The truth is, that Representative Jeanette Ward is a solid conservative, and she has a proven track record of sponsoring legislation to directly protect your individual liberties.” - David Iverson, Cowboy State Politics
ISSUE: Life
Former Rep JEANETTE WARD: Jeanette is pro-life from conception to natural death, no exceptions. In rape or incest, the child is a victim. Murdering him/her is immoral and unnecessary. We must move away from this culture of death and toward a culture of life. We are better than this. I voted yes on every piece of pro-life legislation.
Opponent: Rep Jarvis voted with Democrats 80% of the time and overwhelmingly voted against pro-life legislation both in 2025 and 2026. In contrast, during her 2024 campaign she claimed she was “similar to former President Trump” on life. Obviously she deceived the voters. She voted against pro-life legislation here: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1AfyAYsBS6/

ISSUE: Family
Former Rep JEANETTE WARD: 100% parental rights. The most “local control” of all is parents. Introduced HB0087 in 2023 to strengthen parents’ rights and prevent educators from showing sexually explicit materials to children.
Opponent: In this video, Rep Jarvis says that homeschooled children are "illiterate":
and in this video she says that homeschoolers "let their kids run wild."
In this video from the 2025 WY General Session, Rep Jarvis admits that her survey showed that WY HD57 parents care greatly about parental rights in education, but then proceeds to explain why she WON'T VOTE for the PARENTAL RIGHTS bill (2025's HB0200 - Parent rights - amendments). She pretends that gender ideology indoctrination isn't happening in Wyoming. (She did in fact chair the committee that voted to keep sexually explicit materials - many containing gender ideology indoctrination - in Natrona County School Districts, paid for by taxpayers). She argues for local control when, in fact, the most local control of all IS PARENTS! !!! Then she votes NO on the bill, with DEMOCRATS, as she does roughly 80% of the time.
ISSUE: 2nd Amendment
Former Rep JEANETTE WARD: Endorsed in 2024 by Gun Owners of America, Jeanette co-sponsored 2024's HB0125 to eliminate deadly gun-free zones.
Opponent: Voted against your 2nd Amendment Rights, here: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1Act9f2HC7/

ISSUE: Protecting Women
Former Rep JEANETTE WARD: Prime sponsor of WY 2024's “What is a Woman” act (HB0050) protecting biological women and girls.
Opponent: Rep Jarvis is anti-woman. She voted against WY 2025's "What is a Woman Act" (HB0032), and spoke against it:
Rep Jarvis was the ONLY REPUBLICAN who also voted to allow young men to invade women's locker rooms and bathrooms: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1E51VpjBYT/

ISSUE: Medical Freedom
Former Rep JEANETTE WARD: Sponsored bills in 2023 and 2024 to ban masks & vaccine mandates (HB0066); nullify CDC & WHO rule in WY (HB0143 and HB0091).
Opponent: Rep Jarvis received $1000 from the Wyoming Hospital Association and repeatedly voted against your medical freedom here:

ISSUE: Pornography
Former Rep JEANETTE WARD: Sponsored HB0087 in 2023 to protect children from exposure to sexually explicit materials.
Opponent: Voted and spoke against WY 2026's HB0010:

ISSUE: Property Taxes
Former Rep JEANETTE WARD: Co-sponsored WY 2024's HB0127, HB0133 and HB0157 to provide meaningful property tax relief and reform.
Opponent: Repeatedly spoke against, and voted against property tax relief here:
here:
here:

ISSUE: Spending
Former Rep JEANETTE WARD: Voted against the biggest budget in Wyoming history as of 2023 (HB0001). Rated “Biggest Saver” by Evidence Based Wyoming.
Opponent: Voted with Democrats a majority of the time to increase spending here:

...and ran a budget amendment to give herself a raise here:
ISSUE: Residency
Former Rep JEANETTE WARD: Came to Wyoming for freedom. Jeanette’s family moved to Wyoming in August 2021. The final straw in Illinois was when her daughter, who was a straight-A student, was threatened with out-of-school suspension for not wearing a mask. They decided they had enough and sought freedom in Wyoming.
Just before the final straw, Jeanette had run for the Illinois State Senate in District 25, which was a Republican district by 9 percentage points in the previous election where about 100,000 votes were cast. Narrowly losing the overall race by 1700 votes, one of the four counties covering the district had 8000 Vote-By-Mail ballots cast where the County Clerk neglected to verify signatures. Jeanette has suffered, first-hand, the consequences of a corrupted election system. Jeanette came to Wyoming and ran for office to fight to ensure that the people of this great state do not suffer the same fate of those in deeply corrupted Illinois.
Opponent: Left Wyoming for several years, several times. According to Jarvis’ LinkedIn profile, she left Wyoming to Connecticut for 6 years; returned to Wyoming for 6 years, left again to Connecticut for 6 years; and returned in 2017 to the present. Also, Jarvis moved into District 57 three months after Jeanette. Based upon Jarvis’ pattern, it looks like she may be overdue for leaving again. AND, she argued that our property taxes need to be more like the East, here:
